Thank you so much for welcoming me to the Leaders and Readers event. It was a fun way to celebrate Cinco De Mayo.
Its always fun to branch out and go to a school I've never been to before. Yesterday, I had the pleasure sharing Brick & Stick and the Princesses with the awesome first graders of Mariposa Elementary in Brea. The students were great listeners and had tons of great questions to ask, which always makes it even more rewarding.
We also had the chance to draw together. Hopefully they'll send us even more, but this is Blaine's awesome artwork from our guided drawing.
Thanks again to all the students for being excellent listeners, to Principal Coburn and to the teachers for making it a great experience.
